Information we process
- App account. The app may sign you in anonymously using Firebase Authentication. A unique technical identifier is created so your progress, scores, and preferences can be stored.
- Optional profile / contact-style data. If you choose to set a display name for leaderboards or similar features, that text is stored with your account data. Providing a name is optional.
- Gameplay and app data. Information such as challenge results, streaks, scores, and related activity may be stored to provide the service (e.g. leaderboards, daily challenges).
- Push notifications. If you allow notifications, Apple’s system may provide a device token used to deliver notification types you enable in the app (e.g. daily challenge reminders). You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
- Comments and social features. If you post comments or use sharing features, the content and related metadata may be stored to operate those features.
- Movie content. The app displays movie-related information (titles, posters, trivia) from third-party sources (e.g. TMDB or similar databases) according to their terms.
Service providers
We use infrastructure from Google Firebase (e.g. authentication, database, messaging) to run the app. Google’s processing is described in Google’s privacy documentation. Data may be processed on servers in various locations.
How we use data
We use the information above to operate the app, maintain accounts and leaderboards, send optional notifications you approve, improve stability and security, and comply with law where required.
Retention and deletion
We retain data as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of information associated with your use of the app by contacting us at the email above (we may need a reasonable way to verify your request).
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe we have collected a child’s data in error, contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
